beginners, couples or girlfriends!
Acupressure is an ancient healing art that
uses the fingers to press key points on the
surface of the skin to stimulate the body's
natural self-curative abilities. The origins of
acupressure are as ancient as the instinctive
impulse to hold your forehead or temples when
you have a headache. When these points are
pressed, they release muscular tension and
promote the circulation of blood. Acupressure
continues to be one of the most effective
methods for self-treatment of tension-related
ailments.
The main advantage of acupressure is that it is
safe to do on yourself and others. There are no
side effects from drugs, because there aren't
any drugs. The only equipment needed is your own
two hands.
Class participants will learn some of
acupressure's most powerful points in a hands-on
easy-to-follow format. Everyone will go home
with a booklet outlining these potent points. Class size is limited to
12. It is scheduled from 10:00-2:00 and includes
lunch. Cost is $85 per person.
Inn Spa Manager Randall Wellman, LMT and MS,
will be your instructor. Randy started teaching
classes in 1994. He has studied with many
masters and has worked on thousands of clients.
